-I’ll start the water boiling, pop the chunk of noodles into the pot, and set my oven timer to 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
-I’ll go through the first two minutes cooking and stirring the noodles.
-When 1:20 hits, I have a twenty second window to rip open the sauce and garnish packets and dump them in before I hit the one minute you’re supposed to spend cooking the sauce and garnish.

I normally can make this window with my eyes closed, but this time, something went terribly, terribly wrong.
The details of exactly what happened are still a bit hazy to me, but I do know that I ended up with pork grease and little pieces of dried vegetables all over my hands, and that I ended up having to add another 30 seconds to the oven timer. It was truly a horrifying experience.

I ate the ramen anyways. It was okay.

So, this is where I’ve been working for the last several months. It’s a little datacenter in the Purdue research park. I’m only hourly for the time being, but they treat me well… Yes, that’s a new intuos4 and a 24″ widescreen that they bought for me ^___^

I had a good round of Spelunky last night:

Spelunky is a nifty little pixel game modeled after “roguelikes” such as rogue and nethack. Although it is extremely hard, frustrating, and a complete time waster, it can be tons of fun…I’d suggest it to anyone. And best of all, it’s free! Careful viewers will note that this round cost me more than an hour of time. That’s because much of the death in this game comes instantly and with little warning, so it can pay to be cautious.

SO. Please bear with me as things get shuffled around. Hopefully I will be updating more regularly with art, twits, and writings. I have some stories and comic ideas I would love to put into prose, if I can find some time to sit down and write.

Also, I am now a low-key tech writer and graphic designer with TekGoblin, a start up mobile app blog who’s owner I randomly ran into a week ago. I think it will be a good way to network and hone my technical writing skills.

Not much to say today, aside from a few pieces of art. I’m so behind on all of my schoolwork…Spring Break was anything but the productive week that I had intended it to be…

It’s a bad sign when you’re not going out on Thursdays and Fridays anymore, but your still pulling at least one or two full nights of work every week

So alcohol and WoW have been pushed downwards on the list of priorities, sad as it is. Maya labs and figure drawing have been kicking my ass like it’s their job.

The new artist is certainly good, but the art from issues 8 and on just lack the stylistic impact as the first seven issues, and, in my opinion, is simply to heavy on the dark lines and has too much flat coloring to it.

Anyways, small art dump from the sketchbook. And no, i haven’t finished coloring the linework from the previous post.   >.>

The inking hath begun. Stormherald is going to be such a bitch to draw -_-;

We farmed a very unfortunate (most likely a random “10 game a week” ) 5v5 group for 9 games, a total of around 60 points or so. We kept getting them again and again, each time focusing on a poor hapless fury warrior named “Minator”, to the point that they stopped trying, started /crying, /dancing, and walking around with us on their mounts in the last four matches. Poor guys…we appreciated the points though.

Funny thing is, our team was similarly composed, with two geared people carrying a friend of theirs and I for this week. Now we’re walking around looking pimped up with a 10 to 1 w/l ratio and a 1637 rating. Good game.
